NAMDEB CONTRIBUTES TOWARDS SCIENCE

With science and technology playing a major role in Namdeb’s operations and in order to promote and encourage science activities within the schools, the Namdeb Social Fund contributed N$ 200 000.00 towards the organizing of the first African Regional Science Fair that was held in Windhoek from the 26 August to the 8th  September 2006.

Participants came from all over the world to partake in this presitgious event with the objective of making young scientist programmes accessible to all Namibians especially to those in previously disadvantaged regions of the country.
