Namdeb thanked for help saving the Rhino A diamond donated by Namdeb to the “Save the Rhino Trust” was auctioned for N$14 000 at a fundraising event held in London recently. After the event, the Corporate Fundraising Manager of Save the Rhino International, Petra Fleischer, thanked Namdeb for its support towards the “Desert Rhino” fundraising event. The proceeds of the evening will be split between Save the Rhino International and Save the Rhino Trust Namibia, where a dedicated team is busy with the conservation of the desert-adapted Black Rhino inhabiting the communal areas in the arid north-west of the Kunene and Erongo regions.
